Looking into the quality education, students prefer to join this university. University tries to mold these students as successful diploma engineer and a good human being by providing comprehensive technical education and value education.
Diploma wing is having highly qualified faculty and staff members. We believe in continuous quality improvement of our faculty and staff members so as to update themselves in recent advancements in the field of Engineering and Technology. All the departments have required Laboratory facility available and they are updated regularly. Students are encouraged to participate in various competitions held in other institute or in this university in field of culture, sports, paper presentations etc. Regular one month industrial training after fourth semester is included in curriculum so that students get acquainted with industry work culture and try to correlate theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Apart from this, industrial visits of final year students are regularly arranged in surrounding industries. Each department has their students association, which conducts department level programs such as expert talk, technical quiz/competition, engineers and teachers day celebration etc.
For the rural youth, dropouts and women three to six months duration certificate programs are conducted under the banner of Community Development Through Polytechnic (CDTP) scheme of MHRD, New Delhi. Every year around 500 youth are given training in Computer, Auto-Cad, Electrician, Welding, Tailoring and other skills through various off-campus centers located in surrounding villages and hilly areas.
